Milioni di artisti su YouTube portano i netizen sulla piattaforma per ascoltare i loro cantanti preferiti.

Molti sudcoreani utilizzano il servizio anche per guardare le esibizioni dei loro idoli preferiti e ascoltare le loro canzoni su YouTube. Il 28 febbraio un netizen ha condiviso i dati di YouTube degli idoli più cercati sulla piattaforma nel 2021.

I primi 50 idoli maschili includono membri di BTS, EXO, NCT, SHINee, ASTRO, Super Junior, TXT, e altri, mentre i primi 50 idoli femminili includono IU, Taeyeon, BLACKPINK, aespa, Oh My Girl, MAMAMOO, Red Velvet e (G)I-DLE.
